About the Role
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience in managing teams in a manufacturing environment and a proven ability to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff to meet production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor and manage production processes to achieve efficiency and quality targets.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and prepare regular performance reports.
- Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred).
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
